The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kaduna Branch, has announced that its much-anticipated Law Week 2026 activities will commence on Friday, May 15, 2026.

The opening event will be a Friday Prayer Session at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna, bringing together members of the Bench and Bar, legal practitioners, friends of the Bar, and the general public for worship, reflection, unity, and prayers for the legal profession, the judiciary, and the nation.

The programme will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a Pre-Khutbah Talk to be delivered by HW Ɗahiru Mustapha, Esq., followed by Juma’at Prayer and special prayers for lawyers at 12:30 p.m. Special prayers will also be offered during and after the sermon for the judiciary, the nation, and the continued advancement of justice.

The opening event will be followed by lunch at FARMA FIRM by 2:00 p.m.

This year’s Law Week is themed “ACTIVATE: Empowering Lawyers In The Digital Age.” The theme reflects the urgent need for legal practitioners to embrace innovation, technology, digital transformation, and forward-thinking approaches in legal practice and justice administration.

NBA Kaduna Branch warmly invites colleagues, friends of the Bar, and members of the public to participate in the spiritually uplifting opening event as Law Week 2026 officially begins.
