Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Okechukwu Amechi, has been listed among the latest beneficiaries of the Lawyers in Business Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme, as the initiative continues to attract members of the legal profession.

The organisers disclosed that prospective subscribers still have a 15-day window to take advantage of an ongoing ₦1 million Easter and Ramadan discount on property allocations under the scheme.

According to the promoters, interested participants can secure a plot with a 50 per cent initial deposit, while the outstanding balance can be spread over a period of up to two years through monthly instalments. The arrangement, they noted, also protects early subscribers from future price increases.

The scheme, which targets legal practitioners and investors, is part of a broader effort to encourage wealth creation and property ownership within the legal community through structured land banking.

Officials further revealed that site inspections and additional allocations are ongoing, with scheduled inspection windows running from April 16 to April 18, 2026, at designated times.

The meeting point for inspections is through the VON/Trademore Estate Junction along Airport Road, Abuja, while administrative support is available at offices located behind Games Village in the Federal Capital Territory.

In addition, the organisers introduced a referral incentive, offering a five per cent facilitator’s fee to individuals who successfully refer new subscribers to the scheme.

The initiative is being coordinated by Silas E. Agbara, a Senior Associate at M.I. Dikko SAN & Associates and Secretary of the NBA National Legal Entrepreneurship Committee, who also serves as Administrator of the Lawyers in Business Institute.

Stakeholders say the scheme reflects growing interest among legal professionals in alternative investment opportunities, particularly in real estate, as a means of long-term financial security.
