In a congratulatory letter dated April 9, 2026, and signed by NLS President Chief Mela Audu Nunghe SAN, Bencher, and National Publicity Secretary Dr. Lilian Uche, the Society expressed confidence that the Body of Benchers would continue to uphold the highest standards of legal ethics, discipline, and professional responsibility under Akpomudje’s leadership.
The NLS described Akpomudje’s emergence as reflecting not only his professional excellence but also the confidence reposed in his leadership by the legal community at large.
