The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, has expressed grave concern over the disappearance of one of its members, Mr. Ugwuoke Henry Onyebuchi, a legal practitioner popularly known as “Odogwu Lawyer.”

This was contained in a statement issued by Oliver Omoredia, Publicity Secretary of the NBA Lagos Branch.

Mr. Ugwuoke Henry Onyebuchi was reportedly last seen at about 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, and his whereabouts have remained unknown since then.

Following the report of his disappearance, a formal complaint was lodged at the Ilasan Police Station, where preliminary investigations are currently ongoing.

The Branch has also escalated the matter to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and respectfully calls for urgent intervention and deployment of all necessary investigative resources to ascertain Mr. Ugwuoke Henry Onyebuchi’s whereabouts and ensure his safe recovery.

The NBA Lagos Branch further appealed to members of the public who may have seen Mr. Ugwuoke Henry Onyebuchi or have any information that may assist the ongoing investigation to immediately report such information to the nearest police station or the NBA Lagos Branch.
