Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has been declared the winner of the Anambra State governorship election after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced results from all 21 local government areas (LGAs) across the state.

INEC’s collation of votes revealed a total of 584,054 ballots cast, with Soludo securing a commanding 422,664 votes over 72% of the total. This decisive margin underscores APGA’s stronghold in the southeastern state. His closest challenger, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), received 99,445 votes, while other parties trailed far behind: the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate garnered 8,208 votes, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate managed just 1,401 votes.
The election, held amid heightened security and voter enthusiasm, saw APGA dominating nearly every LGA, reflecting strong grassroots support for Soludo’s vision of economic transformation and infrastructure development.
