The Mid-West Bar Forum (MWBF) has congratulated three of its members who were among the 57 legal practitioners sworn in as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) on Monday, September 29, 2025.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Kunle Edun, SAN, the Forum celebrated the elevation of Sir Victor Esiri Akpoguma, SAN, Hannibal Egbe Uwaifo, SAN, and Omamuzo Erebe, SAN, describing their admission into the Inner Bar as a proud moment for the Forum.

“The MWBF celebrates your admission into the Inner Bar. While the Forum prays for a rewarding new chapter in your lives, we look forward to working with you to provide the much-needed leadership that will ensure the growth of the legal profession, respect for the rule of law, maintenance of ethical standards, mentorship of younger lawyers, and service to humanity,” the statement read.

Edun, on behalf of the Forum, urged the new silks to see their elevation not only as a personal achievement but also as a call to higher responsibility within the profession and society.
