Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee for the Nigerian Bar Association’s (NBA) 67th Annual General Conference (AGC) in 2025, has commended lawyers for their active participation and contributions to what he described as a “truly remarkable and impactful” conference.

In a statement issued at the conclusion of the event, Obegolu expressed gratitude to all attendees for their insights, engagement, and commitment to the ideals of the NBA. “This conference was not merely an event; it was a convergence of minds, a celebration of legal excellence, and a reaffirmation of our shared responsibility to defend justice, uphold the rule of law, and strengthen the pillars of democracy in Nigeria,” he said.

Obegolu highlighted the professionalism, intellectual depth, and collaborative spirit displayed throughout the conference, noting that the Planning Committee was privileged to serve in facilitating such a successful gathering. He encouraged lawyers to carry the momentum from the AGC into their practice, strengthen professional networks, and continue shaping the future of the Nigerian legal profession.

“Let the knowledge gained here empower your practice. Let the connections built here strengthen our collective voice. And let our shared experiences continue to shape the future of the Nigerian Bar,” Obegolu said.

Concluding his address, the SAN extended well wishes for safe travels and called on members to meet again stronger, wiser, and more committed to the principles of the Bar.

The 2025 NBA AGC, themed #STAND OUT, STAND TALL, drew lawyers from across Nigeria and celebrated legal excellence, professional collaboration, and advocacy for justice.
