The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lafia Branch has successfully conducted its elections for the 2024 tenure.

The electoral process, which took place Tuesday, June 25, 2024, saw the emergence of new executive committee members who will pilot the affairs of the branch in the coming years.

The election results, as announced by the Electoral Committee, are as follows:

Legal Adviser:
1. M. Danjuma – 121 votes (Elected)
2. Okoye – 93 votes

Secretary:
1. Abundaga – 123 votes (Elected)
2. Abigail – 92 votes

Vice Chairman:
1. Martins – 114 votes (Elected)
2. Okafor – 101 votes

Chairman:
1. A. S. Gayam – 112 votes (Elected)
2. I. H. Nalaraba – 103 votes

The following candidates were elected unopposed:

– Assistant Secretary: P. A. Agbatse – 213 votes
– Treasurer: Fauziya Buba – 213 votes
– Financial Secretary: Andrew – 213 votes
– Publicity Secretary: Alaku Dennis Dauda – 213 votes
