Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has approved the inauguration of the General Council of the Bar.

The inauguration of the General Council is to take place on Monday, January 9, 2023- less than 10 days from today, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Wuse Zone 4.

The notification of approval was contained in a letter from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry to the NBA President, Maikyau, dated November 23, 2022.

“I wish to refer you to our previous letter with Ref No MJ/PRS/LAD/015/11 dated 21 November 2022, on the above subject and to inform you that the Honourable Attorney-General and Minister of Justice has approved the inauguration of the General Council of the Bar

The inauguration and meeting of the council have been scheduled as follows:

“Date: 9th January 2022
Time: 10:00 am
Venue: Abuja Continental Hotel, (Former Sheraton Hotel) No. 1 Ladi Kwali Street, Wuse Zone 4.”
