The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Section on Legal Practice (SLP) is fully set to host her conference.
The theme of Conference which is themed “Legal Practice In Nigeria: Our Reality, Our Future will hold at Asaba, from the 3rd – 6th July, 2022. To get participants well prepped for the event, the NBA-SLP has released list of hotels available for reservations around the venue of the conference. The list contains 17 hotels which will offer top services to participants of the conference.
In addition to this, the NBA-SLP has released the official topics for the various break out sessions of the event. The breakout session which is to be led by Ferdinand Oshioke Orbih, SAN, FCIARB will cover topics from lack and need of Consistency to challenges in the legal field in Nigeria. The topics of the breakout sessions for the various days include thus;
1. 4th July, 2022: Lack of Consistency in Judicial Pronouncements in Nigeria; Code of Conduct to The Rescue.
2. 4th July, 2022: Court Martial and Opportunities for Legal Practice in the Military.
3. 5th July, 2022: Alternative Dispute Resolution: A Solution or an Illusion?
4. 5th July, 2022: Ethics and Discipline in Law Practice: Is It Like Waiting For Godot?
5. 6th July, 2022: Legal Practice in Nigeria: Challenges & Solutions.
