*As NBA President Olumide Akpata To Led The Lawyers’ Night Of Tributes Today.

All roads lead to Ikwuano LGA in Abia for the sole purpose of burying  Pa. Ubani Egbedubi Nwokocha of Awomukwu Village, Ikwuano. 

Pa Ubani who died a centenarian at a ripe age of 101 on 3rd January, 2022, was the beloved  father of Dr Monday Onyekachi Ubani, a renowned human rights activist, a past 2nd Vice President of Nigerian Bar Association and the current Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL).

Pa Ubani is survived by his wife, only son (Dr. Monday) and several grand children.

He shall be laid to rest this Friday in his hometown at Awomukwu in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.

Several notable lawyers and Distinguished Nigerians have indicated interest to honour the Chairman of NBA-SPIDEL Dr Ubani by being part of the great event.

The lawyers’ Night of Tributes which comes after the brief service of songs today being 21st of April will be graciously led by Mr Olumide Akpata, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association. 

The event will be graced many distinguished guests and several juggernauts in the legal profession across Nigeria and beyond.

According to release issued by the event coordinator and burial Committee Chairman, Okey Ohagba, Esq, all plans are in place for the celebration of the life and times of the late Centenarian.
