Ten of the remaining 31 abducted students of Bethel Baptist High school, Damishi, Kaduna have been released.

Kaduna Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Rev. Joseph Hayab confirmed this to reporters on Saturday evening.

Hayab said the students were released on Saturday night and have been reunited with their parents.

He confirmed that an undisclosed amount of ransom was paid before their release.

With the latest development, there remains 21 students with the bandits.
