The Nigerian Bar Association Assistant Publicity Secretary, Daniel Kip, has condoled with NBA Abuja Branch over the death of its Chairman, Hauwa Shekarau.

Kip, in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, expressed surprise on the death of Shekarau as according to him, the deceased looked healthy sometime in August.

DANIEL KIP COMMISERATES WITH THE ABUJA BRANCH OF THE NBA ON THE LOSS OF ITS CHAIRPERSON.
I was in my usual tradition, going through the publications by bloggers on one of the Lawyers WhatsApp platform when I stumbled on the news of the demise of the Chairman of the Abuja Branch of the NBA.

It bewilders me because sometime in August, which is not too long ago, I participated in the Bar week of the Abuja Branch and encountered the Chairperson who was looking vibrant and healthy. One would never have thought that death was anywhere close. When will death die? I ask helplessly. Death is immortal.

I commiserate with the family of the deceased Chairperson, the executive Committee and entire members of the Abuja Branch. I pray God grants all the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss.

May her noble soul find perfect repose.
