In Nigeria, it is an offence for a person, other than a legal practitioner, to prepare any document relating to a land transaction, in expectation of a fee.
EXCEPTION
If the document is prepared in the course of employment as Secretary, Clerks or servant of a legal Practitioner.
PENALTY
■ Two Years imprisonment
■ Fine not exceeding N200 or both
