The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators is the professional body of dispute resolution practitioners with the mandate to regulate the practice of Mediation, train prospective candidates and encourage organizations and institutions to adopt Mediation and Conciliation as the primary means for addressing disputes.

The Institute is pleased to announce that the next virtual Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Training is scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: 3 – 7 August, 2020
Time: 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm daily
Venue: Zoom
Course fee: N120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira) only

So far, the Institute has held three (3) virtual Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Trainings with participants attending from Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Jos, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Asaba, Sokoto, Akure, Minna, Kaduna and North America.

The participants described the training as intensive and interesting, and most have gone further to undergo the Institute’s several continuing professional development courses to continue to broaden their horizons and develop themselves in the field. Qualified individuals may also be inducted into the Institute as Members (MICMC) upon successful completion of the Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Training, and upon obtaining at least 30 CPD units.

Successful participants of the Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Training will be inducted into the Institute as Associate Members (AICMC) during the Institute’s Induction Ceremony.
