A Kano State High Court presided over by Justice Suleiman Namallam, on Wednesday in Kano, restrained the Kano State Anti Corruption and Public Complaints Commission from further releasing any indicting report against the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, until the hearing of the suit on notice.

At the resumption of trial on Wednesday, the judge granted leave for the counsel for the emir, Suraj Sa,ida, SAN, and four other plaintiffs, to present an ex parte application, which sought the court to restrain the anti-graft agency from continuing with its investigation against Sanusi over the alleged misappropriation of over N3.5bn.
