The Police in Ughelli Police Division on Tuesday, arraigned a Fake Lawyer, Felix Okorobia, before Mr. E. Ojugo, a Chief Magistrate, sitting in Ughelli, Delta State.
Felix Okorobia, pleaded not guilty to 5 count charges consequent upon which he was admitted to bail.
Felix Okorobia was admitted to bail in the sum of N1,000,000.00 and 2 sureties in like some. The terms give were that, one of the sureties must be a Director of level 16 in public service, and another surety must be a legal practitioner of not less than 10 years cognate experience and must deposit his call to Bar certificate.
The branch Chairman, E.S. Ayo-Okhiria was in attendance alongside, A.G. Obro, a past branch Secretary, J.A. Opete (immediate past chairman), J.O. Akpochafo (Vice-Chairman) G.O. Uduobowhe (Secretary) Marcos Obijeko (Assistant Secretary), M.E. Osume, Exco members and 24 other members. They, for themselves and on behalf of Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ughelli Branch held a watching brief.
The matter has been adjourned to 16th January 2020 for hearing.
