Contrary to previous claims, investigations have revealed that the server of United Bank Africa (UBA) was not hacked.

A Certified True Copy from the Federal High Court, dated November 11, 2019, and obtained by TheNigerialawyer, indicates that the fraudulent transfer from the account of Flour Mills Nigeria was a result of an unauthorized transfer, not a hack.

In a suit marked as charge no: FHC/295C/2019, UBA’s auditor and Investigation Officer, Ojo Oladimeji, testified in court, affirming that the incident was an unauthorized transfer, not a server hack.

This finding contradicts an earlier report published in September 2019.

With this investigation and the substantial evidence at hand, we want to clarify that the bank’s server was never hacked. The earlier representation of a hack, which was made by the opposing lawyer during the case, has been proven incorrect. We urge readers to consider this correction as a true reflection of the facts presented in the court documents, made available to Nigerian Lawyer.
