The Chairman of NBA Asaba branch, F.T. Eruli-Ede, Esq., has called on security agencies to take all necessary steps to ensure that the killers of one of his colleagues, Kennedy Ofuezuem Anim Nwashindi, Esq., is brought to book.

The Chairman of the branch made this statement in a press statement sighted by TNL.

Deeply saddened by the gruesome event, he strongly condemned the rising rate of crime in the society, especially, the criminal attack on legal practitioners.

”The Nigerian Bar Association Asaba Branch is deeply saddened by the death of our beloved member, Kennedy Ofuezuem Anim Nwashindi, Esq.

‘!Our thoughts and prayers are with his Family.

We call on the Police and other security agencies to take all necessary steps to ensure that his killers and their masterminds are brought to justice as soon as possible.

”We strongly condemn the rising rate of crime in our Society, especially the criminal attack on Legal Practitioners.”

He finally called on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Governor of Delta State to use all the weapons in their arsenals to curb this ugly, barbaric and evil trend.
