We didn’t visit Aso Rock, never endorsed Buhari, says KOWA Party

The party said it remained an integral part of the Coalition of United Political Parties until otherwise decided by its relevant organs and authorities. The National Secretary of KOWA Party and Co-Spokesperson of CUPP, Mark Adebayo, made the clarification in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, entitled: “KOWA was never part of Buhari’s endorsement.” Adesina had included KOWA among the Bashir Ibrahim-led CPPP which endorsed Buhari. Parties listed by Adesina as endorsing Buhari’s re-election were Advanced Allied Party, Africa Peoples Alliance, Freedom and Justice Party and KOWA Party. Others were New Progressive Movement, Peoples Democratic Movement, Accord Party, Sustainable National Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party, Unity Party of Nigeria, United Progressive Party, National Democratic Liberty Party, Nigeria Elements Progressive Party, and Yes Electoral Party. But Adebayo insisted that KOWA party was not part of the team and did not visit Aso Rock.
