Two past Chairmen of the Midwest Bar Forum, Chief Albert and Akpomudje, SAN Chief Ferdinand Orbih, SAN have resolved to settle the rift between members of the executive Committee of the forum concerning an alarm raised by some executive members asking members of the forum to ignore the supposed adoption directives by the forum’s chairman to adopt a presidential candidate for the oncoming NBA election.

This was affirmed in a press statement released on the 2nd of June, 2018 and signed by the past chairmen of the forum. In their words:  ”The current schism in Executive Committee of the Midwest Bar Forum has come to our notice. We have decided to intervene inorder to douse the flames that are threatening to çonsume the cohesiveness of the forum. Towards this end we (the undersigned) and some other leaders of the forum  shall meet with the members of the Executive Committee on Saturday, the 9th of June, 2018, at the office of Chief Albert Akpomudje,SAN, at Warri, to resolve the problem.” They however advised all parties concerned and indeed all members of the forum to refrain from issuing any further statements on the issues that led to the present undesirable state of affairs. TheNigerialawyer recalls that some MBF executive members have earlier asked members of the forum to dissociate themselves from a supposed adoption directives given by the forum on a presidential candidate for the oncoming NBA election.]]>
