* PARTICIPATION OF YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN THE 2019 GENERAL ELECTION: THE NEED FOR LAWYERS TO VIE FOR POLITICAL OFFICES We will like to inform our colleagues especially those from Northern Nigeria within the ages of 18-35 years to register for the Young Aspirants Leadership Fellowship (YALF) an ongoing project of Youngstars Development Initiative (Youngstars Foundation) Nigeria with support from FORD Foundation. YALF is a preparatory program designed to increase the capacity, participation and space for youth emergence in elective positions in the 2019 Nigerian General Elections. At the program, participants will learn how to design and set up a political campaign, how to increase chances of running and winning an election, political campaign fund raising, community mobilization, effective media communication, how to manage difficulties during campaign among others. This project is completely non-partisan and we encourage lawyers within the age bracket from different political platforms to leverage on this training.
