EFCC’s Magu

The embattled acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, today joined President Muhammadu Buhari in observing juma’at service at the State House mosque.

The EFCC boss, who was decked in a white babaringa, left the Presidential Viall without speaking to journalists.

The Senate had recently put the confirmation of Magu’s nomination on hold, citing a damning report from the Department of State Security (DSS).

President Buhari has since directed the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubabar Malami, to investigate the matter.
