The court sentenced the three defendants – Sunday Luka (32), Danjuma Kaika (37) and Luka Agu (33) – who all claimed to be from Nasarawa State to death after they were found guilty of killing the septuagenarian. The trio murdered the victim in his farm on June 9, 2014 and carted away his Kia Rio car. The three defendants who used to be labourers in the deceased farmer were arraigned on four- count charge of conspiracy to commit murder, murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Justice C.I.
