* Expects The APC To Have Petitioned INEC * We Have The Liberty To Protect Our Whistle Blower * APC Is Not The Official Spokesperson Of INEC *Insists, INEC Has Not Complained Of A Hacked System The leading opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has made a shocking revelation in response to the allegation by the All Progressive’s Congress, that the PDP hacked into the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The PDP made this revelation while speaking on the topic, “2019 Presidential Election — Discordant Tunes Over INEC’s server Result”, through Kassim Afegbua, the Official Spokesman, of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council. According to Mr. Afegbua, the APC is an interested party – a partisan party who are interested to the extent that the outcome of the PDP whistle blower’s effort, will naturally affect their so-called victory. To that extent, the APC were just caught hands down. He noted that as a result of this, the APC, hurriedly put up a statement by way of a petition, stressing that he was expecting the APC to have petitioned INEC. Speaking further, he added that they have the liberty to protect their whistle blower so that his life will not be in danger. “APC had to hurriedly put up a statement, by way of a petition. I was expecting that the APC would have petitioned INEC. We don’t know anything about hacking. We are telling you that the information we got was from a whistleblower and we are at liberty to protect our whistle blower so that we don’t injure him; so that they don’t assassinate him; so that they don’t cause him bodily harm. Because the desperation of the APC has gotten to the point that anybody or anything that stands on their way will be dealt with.” He also stressed that if the security agencies act on the petition of the APC, they will be doing so at the detriment of the relevant laws that established them as a body. According to him, the APC is not the official spokesperson of INEC, and cannot assume that role of a spokesperson, adding that INEC has not come out to say that their server has been hacked into, because if one hacks into somebody’s computer, the same will either destroy some documents, or destroy the entire information in it. He noted that the APC is simply crying more that the bereaved. “If the Security Agencies act on the petition of the APC, they will be doing so at the detriment of the relevant laws that established those bodies as security agencies. The APC is not the official spokesperson of INEC, and cannot assume that role of a spoke spoken. “INEC has not come out to say the server has been hacked into because if you hack into somebody’s computer, you either destroy some documents, or you destroy the entire information there. APC is crying more that the bereaved. A whistle blower has helped us with the information, so we asking the Tribunal in the light of all the evidence, that the rightful winner of the election should be declared. What we have been presenting is a whistle blower; INEC has never complained about a hacked system,” he said. ]]>
