INVITATION TO BURIAL CEREMONY OF HON. JUSTICE (MRS) C.I. UCHE (RTD) I respectfully invite you to the burial ceremony of our dear Mother, Hon. Justice (Mrs) Christiana Ijeoma Uche (Rtd), the Matriarch of the UCHE Family of Igbere in Bende LGA of Abia State. The programme is as follows:- * Sunday, 11th November 2018 – 6.00 pm: Night of Tributes at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. * Friday, 16th November 2018 – 10 am: Special (Joint Abia, Imo Ebonyi Judiciaries) Valedictory High Court Session at the High Court Umuahia premises, Abia State. * Friday, 16th November 2018 – 7 pm Night of Tributes at The Pavillion Grounds, Igbere in Bende LGA, Abia State. * Saturday, 17th November 2018 – 10 am: Funeral Service at The Convention Centre, Igbere, Bende LGA, Abia State followed by Interment in her Country Home and Grand Reception at the Justice Uche Hall at The Convention Centre, Igbere. Uche, who was a pioneer in several spheres of life and an exemplary judicial icon, was a retired Judge of the High Court of Abia State. She was the first female State High Court Judge in the old Imo State, comprising Imo, Abia and Ebonyi States. She was a foundation Judge of the Abia State Judiciary and was a mentor, mother, role-model and inspiration to many on the Bench and at the Bar in Nigeria. Hon. Justice C. I. Uche (Rtd.) is survived by her children, Chief Chris Uche (SAN), Dr. Rosemond Favour Uche, Gordy Uche (SAN), and Mr. John Uche and a host of other relations.
