President Bola Tinubu has appointed chairpersons, managing directors, and board members for the newly established North-Central, South-West, and South-South Development Commissions.]

In a formal letter read during plenary on Thursday by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu requested the Senate’s confirmation of the nominees.

President Tinubu nominated Cosmas Akyhir from Benue State as Chairman of the North-Central Development Commission. Tsenyil Yiltsen from Plateau State was appointed as Managing Director.

For the South-West region, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi was nominated as Chairman, while Charles Akinola was named Managing Director.

Following the reading of the letter, Senate President Akpabio referred the nominations to the appropriate committees for screening and confirmation.
