The Senate, on Tuesday, adjourned plenary to March 12, which will be three days after the governorship and state assemblies elections.
Senators had reconvened plenary on Tuesday after a 3-week break for presidential and National Assembly elections but majority of the senators were absent.
It was observed that only 10 senators were present at plenary as at the time they commenced sitting at 10:45.
Senate President Bukola Saraki, who lost his reelection bid, presided over the brief session before Senate Leader Ahmad Lawan (APC, Yobe) moved for an adjournment to March 12 as majority of senators were still grappling with election matters.
