The court heard a customer left behind a black polythene bag beongling his cell phone, diary and the cash on a banking hall seat. The court was told Udoh found the bag and kept it, contrary to the bank’s protocol, and failed to inform his supervisor about it. When the customer called the bank’s business service manager about his bag, Udoh denied seeing the bag, and joined in the search for it. Udoh was found out when a CCTV recording showed him picking up a black polythene from where the customer had sat. He is being charged on two counts of conspiracy and theft, but he’s denied the charges. (NAN)]]>
