Rxpx Allegation: Ronaldo Explains Why He Entered 'Non-Disclosure' Agreement With Model

Attorney Peter S. Christiansen on Wednesday issued a statement that doesn’t deny Ronaldo and the woman reached a non-disclosure agreement in 2010. The statement declared that documents cited in media reports about Ronaldo’s Las Vegas hotel penthouse encounter in 2009 with Kathryn Mayorga were altered before being ‘irresponsibly published.’ Mayorga’s attorneys did not immediately respond to messages. A lawsuit filed September 27 in Nevada state court seeks to void the non-disclosure agreement that Mayorga’s attorneys say she signed while accepting $375,000 (£284,000) to keep quiet. Las Vegas police say they have reopened a sexual assault investigation of the encounter between Ronaldo and Mayorga. Christiansen’s statement read: ‘So that there are no doubts: Cristiano Ronaldo vehemently denies all the accusations in this civil action. ‘The documents that allegedly contain statements by Mr. Ronaldo and that were reproduced by the media are pure inventions. ‘Cristiano Ronaldo does not deny that he agreed to enter into a settlement, but the reasons that led him to do so are being distorted. ‘This settlement is by no means a confession of guilt. ‘What happened was simply that Cristiano Ronaldo merely followed the advice of his advisors in order to put an end to the outrageous accusations made against him, in order to avoid attempts, such as those we are now witnessing, to destroy a reputation built thanks to hard work, athletic ability and behavioural correction.’]]>
