Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami

The House of Representatives yesterday blamed the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, for the federal government’s poor compliance with some of the resolutions passed by the National Assembly.

Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business, Emmanuel Orker-Jev, APC-Benue, who made the allegation while addressing newsmen on the activities of the 8th House in the last one year, disclosed that there was, however, a noticeable improvement in the executive compliance to resolutions of the parliament in its first legislative year, unlike in the past, where, according to him, public officers demonstrated poor compliance with implementation of resolutions by obtaining court injunctions restraining the resolutions.
