Reason For Invalid ID Display On Voting Web, Says Team Is Updating Database

The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has explained why bar men have been facing difficulties in voting for their preferred candidate in the on going NBA National Election. TheNigerialawyer (TNL) observed that voters have been receiving an ”error” message whist trying to access the voting website to commence voting. TNL gathered that the display: ”Invalid id, please verify your id,” clouded the web as voters make constant attempt to generate their passwords. Lawyers who spoke with TNL correspondent, have registered their frustration with the whole process, adding that, the system is not to be trusted following the chain of disappointments observed thus far. Some have concluded that Monday will be the saving day for the redemption of their votes. TNL on the other hand learnt from the ECNBA help line that, the quagmire is not of a general nature, as some members have been able to generate their password and proceed with the next step, stressing that, the database is undergoing update, and that, members will be able to log on when the update has been fully completed.
