*NIGERIANS MUST PAY TAX ON INCOMES MADE ABROAD FROM ANY SOURCE AND FAILURE TO DO SO IS AN OFFENCE. *
Personal Income Tax is a direct tax charged on incomes, salaries, allowances, wages, fees, bonuses, dividends or any benefits of an adult individual human being resident in Nigeria and gotten in Nigeria or outside Nigeria or that of any person resident outside Nigeria but derived from Nigeria.
Hence, any person resident in Nigeria, must pay personal income tax on any income/profit from abroad to him. It may be from businesses, investments, contracts, works/deals, brands, shows, concerts or anything.
My authorities are sections 1, 2, 3, 13, 108 and 109 of the Personal Income Tax Act 1993.
