The Governor, who spoke during a church service to commemorate the beginning of 2015/2016 Legal Year held at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, said the synergy of the Executive and the Judicial arm of government is key to the success of any administration, just as he assured of his continuous support for the legal profession. “I sincerely congratulate you on the beginning of another legal year. Let me say both the Executive and the Judiciary are partners in progress and I wish to restate my commitment to always support the Judiciary”, he said. 2 The Governor also expressed appreciation to the church for continuously praying for the success of his administration, urging them not to relent as his administration would not let them down. Earlier, the Diocesan Bishop of Lagos Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev Dr. Adebola Ademowo, who acknowledged the Governor as the first Executive Governor to grace the programme commemorating the beginning of a new legal year since inception. He referred to him as indefatigable, resolute, listening, God fearing and people-oriented governor urging him not to relent in his efforts to move the state forward. He also prayed for peace in the state, expressing optimism that the state will witness development in the next four years.
