The Clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani Ataba Omolori, has declined offer by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), to enter the Assembly complex. The number one bureaucrat of the legislative arm stated this when he was greeted by a heavy security presence at the gate of the Assembly complex. Omolori, who came in at exactly 9: 52 am was told by the operatives that he could go into the complex based on personal recognition. But Omolori pointedly told the hooded security men: “I can’t enter the office when every of my staff is locked out. Even if I decide to go in, there will no one to open the office for me because I don’t keep the office keys.” He then turned around and made toward the exit gate, stopping to make intermittent phone calls.]]>
