The Midwest Bar Forum has lauded the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Warri Branch for reaching a historic milestone of 100 years in legal practice.

In a statement issued by the Forum’s Chairman, Olukunle Ogheneovo Edun, SAN, the group celebrated the enduring legacy of Late Hon. Asifo Egbe, the first lawyer to practice in Warri, whose call to the Bar on April 23, 1925, laid the foundation for what is now one of Nigeria’s most influential NBA branches.

“This is a celebration of a glorious history and legacy,” Edun stated, commending NBA Warri’s leadership and members for upholding a century of legal excellence and advocacy.

The Forum described the centenary as a source of pride for lawyers across Edo and Delta States and pledged continued support for the branch in future initiatives such as the proposed Asifo Egbe Legal Aid Fund.
