NBA Conference‏

Local Organizing Committee of the 2017 NBA-AGC, has highlighted the procedures and requirements for branches that will participate in the football event during the conference.

This statement was made during the meeting they held on Thursday, 10th August, in Lagos State.

According to the committee
” it is only twelve(12) teams have registered at the moment for the football event and the teams are:
1.Warri
2.Lagos
3.Abuja
4.Umuahia
5.Asaba
6.Benin
7.Port Harcourt
8.Onitsha
9.Awka
10.Kaduna
11.Makurdi
“The last branch which made them twelve is not yet indicated at the time of filing this report”

“The draws will be held by 2pm at Ogudu, Lagos State  tomorrow. Each participating team is expected to submit a list of 18 players or less.”

“Also the list of players submitted by participating teams must comprise ONLY registered members of  the Nigerian Bar Association.”

It was also stated that “Participating teams are expected to forward scanned version of the players’ Call to Bar Certificate, Evidence of payment of current practicing fee and ID Card (CAC or NBA).”

“The LOC will verify the eligibility of the all players presented using the NBA LIST OF REGISTERED/VERIFIED MEMBERS.”

It further stated that “any team that fields an illegible player will not only be expelled, the coordinator of such team(s) will also be reported for appropriate disciplinary actions.”

“Updated guidelines will be issued after the draws tomorrow.”
