Asame, said that Arinze was assaulted and detained on the order of the Otuocha Police Area commander while he was calling for peaceful settlement of a case. He said, “A lawyer who came to do his work at Otuocha Area Command was assaulted and detained on the order of Police Area Commander, Mr Abdul A. Osu.” “This is least of what I expect and we can’t take it like this, we are proceeding to the court immediately. The lawyer was only asking parties for amicable settlement, that is all” he fumed.
