He was a retired Ambassador and on contract with United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
It has now emerged that Adesanmi, a native of Isanlu, in Yagba East Local Government area of Kogi State, was among the passengers.
Three different family members, plus a close friend of Adesanmi’s and a Canadian official, confirmed the sad development.
Until his death, Adesanmi was a Professor of English at Carleton University.
The aircraft was of the same type as a plane that crashed in October shortly after takeoff from Jakarta, killing all 189 people on board.]]>
