Mr Segun Sowunmi, a spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign, has denied reports suggesting that he said his principal cannot defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming polls.
Earlier on Tuesday, Festus Keyamo took to Twitter to share an alleged ‘leaked audio’ in which Sowunmi was saying that unless they (PDP) chooses to rig the forthcoming elections, it may be “practically impossible” to win.
The spokesman of the Buhari campaign organisation, posted the audio on his page saying, “It It’s all over!!! Segun Sowunmi, Atiku’s spokesperson, in a leaked audio early February, throws in the towel. I expected this long ago, but it’s better late than never. #Sowunmitapes“.

Sowunmi in reaction to Keyamo’s claim, went on to post a video on Twitter, he said the tape was manipulated.
He noted that the comment which has been tampered with, was made during an interview with the BBC while.
The Atiku campaign spokesman said he was responding to a question on why the PDP was resuming its campaign shortly after the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
He stressed that he was trying to explain the PDP’s immediate return to campaigns after suspending it in protest of CJN’s treatment.
Sowunmi said what is been shared online was manipulated by the APC.
He said the APC must ask itself why nits message is not resonating anymore with the people.
