FIDA Rivers Bids Farewell To Its Patron, Late Emma Aguma SAN

The news of the death of our Patron, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State, Hon. Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma SAN, the husband of our amiable Country Vice President / National President, Hon. (Mrs) Inime Aguma came to us as a very rude shock. It is devastating for us and we have prayed and hoped that it will only be a dream which we would wake up from, but days have passed since we received the sad news on Friday, the 10th of August, 2018, and we cannot but face the reality of the untimely transition to glory of a great mind, a man full of compassion, whose great and immeasurable support to FIDA cannot be overemphasised. For us at FIDA RIVERS, his immense support and contributions towards the achievement of our vision and service to humanity will remain indelible in our hearts. He was an icon, a great legal luminary, an intelligent and hardworking man, dedicated to the service of his people. His untimely demise is indeed a great loss to NBA, FIDA, the State Government and entire people of Rivers State. Words fail us to express the pain and sorrow we feel in our hearts at this time but with deepest love and care, we pray for his wife, our past Chairperson, Senior, mother, mentor and great leader, that God Almighty would grant her and her children the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss of a loving husband and father. To his aged mother and family, we also extend our deepest condolences and pray that God would grant them the grace to bear this loss.
