Upon interrogation by the Magistrate in the court, the convict admitted to have swindled unsuspecting litigants and was referred to the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikorodu Branch for the verification of his status as a lawyer. “After running background checks at the Secretariat of the Ikorodu branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Vice Chairman of the branch Prince AB Ladega who doubles as the Chairman of the Pro Bono and Human Rights Committee found out that Olamide was not a qualified lawyer and not fit to handle any case” he said.
