ASABA SUMMIT: NBA Delivers on CLE Promise

There are strong indications that the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) has commenced issuance of the certificates to the conferees. The NBA today sent out emails to the conferees requesting them to print out the certificates. It is recalled that the NBA now issues electronic certificates which can be printed by conferees. An email received by one of the conferees read thus: “Nigerian Bar Association Certificate Automation System Congratulations!!! You have participated in the following activity and your certificate is ready to be printed. Click the Print Now link to proceed. Activity Type: CONFERENCE Activity Name: NBA Fifth Criminal Justice Reform Conference Venue: Convention Centre, Asaba, Delta State Date: 25-Apr-2018 – 26-Apr-2018 Participant’s Name: (Nwadioke Emeka) Print Now  [Expiry]  For Inquiries and Support contact us on NCASsupport@nigerianbar.org.ng” It is recalled that the Arthur Obi Okafor SAN-led Criminal Justice Reform Committee had assured conferees that it had received the approval of the NBA-ICLE to award CLE points to participants. The Conference was attended by the cream of Nigeria’s bar and bench, while NBA President, Mr. Abubakar Mahmoud SAN delivered the welcome address.
