The Oyo High Court sitting in Ibadan has granted bail to the 12 suspected killers of an undergraduate student of Ajayi Crowther University, Jeffrey Akro, while the case has been adjourned until Friday, February 21, 2025.

Recall that the suspects pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge when the case was mentioned for hearing at the same court in Awe, Oyo State.

Their plea and oral application for bail could not be taken during the last sitting, leading to the adjournment until today.

However, Justice Ladiran Akintola, at the sitting on Friday, granted bail to the suspects in the sum of N5 million, with their parents standing as sureties.
