The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Muhammad Bello has directed security agencies to arrest the officials of Federal Housing Authority and the developer for the collapsed of a two-storey suspended building in Abuja.

Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) Umar Shuaibu, disclosed this to journalists during a briefing on Saturday.

He said the minister directed the security operatives to arrest the FHA officer saddled with monitoring the project, FHA officer in charge of granting the development permit, the developer and the engineer supervising the project for manslaughter.

Shuaibu disclosed that the uncompleted building that collapsed two days ago at 6th avenue in Gwarimpa Estate, trapped 24 persons, three were confirmed death while 21 persons have been rescued.
