The long-awaited second edition of the Modern Civil Procedure Law and Practice in Nigeria written by Dr. Jerry Amadi has been published.

The second edition of the book has been upgraded to a higher premium of excellence with the addition of new practice rules and procedures in Nigeria making it more uniquely different and detailed.

The book is in two volumes, with an additional five chapters injected into the bookmaking a total of 37 chapters with 4062 pages.

Uniquely, the book charts and discusses new and emerging issues in civil procedure law and practice such as the fast track procedure, case management conference and scheduling, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings, human rights and human rights litigation as well as the use of technology in the administration of justice.
