The presidential, senatorial and House of Reps elections hold on Saturday, February 16; while the governorship and the state Houses of Assembly elections come up on March 1. Recall that Concise News had earlier reported that INEC has barred all accredited election observers from granting media interviews. INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu who said so also directed that, at the polling units, no security personnel is allowed to hinder accredited observers from observing the election process. Concise News had it that Yakubu stated this at a National briefing for Accredited Observers (Domestic and Foreign) for the 2019 general election held on Tuesday in Abuja.
