Women In Arbitration Holds 2018 Conference In Nairobi

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch), will host this inaugural ArbitralWomen Conference as a forum that will bring together Practicing Women Arbitrators, aspiring women seeking to join arbitration practice and those seeking to learn more on Arbitration.

The conference will provide a platform to better understand and appreciate arbitration, highlight available opportunities for women in arbitration, and an indispensable update on issues and trends in Arbitration.

Conference participants will learn from some of Africa’s top-notch women arbitrators as they speak on their experiences and also present an excellent opportunity to network and create links with the growing faculty of women arbitrators drawn from Kenya, other African countries and beyond.

The Conference will feature presentation of a Key Note Speech, Papers on various aspects of Arbitration in Africa and an interactive panel session that teases out some of the most salient and pertinent issues on arbitration in the continent. Participants will also benefit from Q&A sessions that flag out issues arising from the various sessions.
