The late woman, who was on her way to attend her daughter’s wedding, was allegedly shot by one of the soldiers deplored to enforce the no movement restriction during the monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise. The soldier alleged that the tricycle driver conveying the woman refused to stop when ordered to stop. However, the Brigade in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Captain Jonah Unuakhalu, expressed regrets over the incident, saying that the soldiers concerned have been arrested and investigation is ongoing.
