By the express provisions of section section 88(2)(b) of the Constitution, the National Assembly’s oversight functions include the responsibility to “expose corruption, inefficiency or waste in the execution or administration of laws within it’s legislative competence ..” However, since the matter is now sub judice, the IGP having filed an action challenging the summon, it is another opportunity for the courts to develop our legal jurisprudence and constitutionalism.]]>
